Karachi: A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) and the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, marking a pioneering collaboration between health and arts sectors.

According to Dow University of Health Sciences, the MoU signing ceremony was attended by notable figures including Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy, Vice Chancellor of DUHS, Mohammad Ahmed Shah, President of the Arts Council, along with Dr. Ashar Afaq, Registrar DUHS, Dr. Izhar Hussain, and Prof. Dr. Asima Faisal, Director IBHM at DUHS. The agreement establishes a framework for merging health sciences and arts to foster community engagement and initiate creative projects, highlighting a novel approach to interdisciplinary collaboration.
