Islamabad: Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqdisi of Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya emphasized the importance of love, faith, and inclusivity in promoting peace in Pakistan, during an annual funeral service at the mausoleum of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bari Imam Mousavi al-Mushhid.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Muqdisi addressed a large gathering, discussing the issues surrounding the prohibition of mourning practices and the presence of banned groups in government institutions, which he claimed aggravates the grief of terrorism victims. He stressed that Pakistan, being an Islamic republic, should not favor any particular sect but ensure the respect and rights of all religious schools. Muqdisi advocated for a collective approach to overcome the challenges posed by internal and external threats to the nation’s peace and unity.
The leader also criticized the so-called standard operating procedures that restrict religious expressions, describing these measures as impediments imposed by enemies of the state. He called for a robust response to those compromising the country’s security, whether from within or outside its borders. The event highlighted a united front in mourning and remembering the contributions of religious figures, aiming to strengthen the bonds among different communities.
