Islamabad Commemorates the Martyrdom of Hazrat Sakina bint Al-Hussain with Solemn Assembly

Islamabad: The Central Imam Bargah of Jamia Al-Murtaza in Islamabad observed the 10th anniversary of the captives of Karbala with a solemn assembly dedicated to Hazrat Sakina bint Al-Hussain. The event, organized by Anjuman Dukhtaran Islam under the aegis of Umm Al-Binin WIF, Sakina Generation, and Girls Guide, featured a procession of Hazrat Sakina’s coffin, symbolizing her historical suffering and endurance.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the commemoration included speeches by notable figures, including Khatiba Syeda Abthaaj Zainab Mousavi, who highlighted the life of Hazrat Sakina as a guiding light for women and a symbol of dignity and perseverance. The assembly also observed heightened security measures by the organizing groups and concluded with prayers for peace and resolution of the community’s hardships. Additionally, prominent members of the community, including Loy Zainab and Angela Zahra, contributed to the proceedings with their insights on Hazrat Sakina’s legacy.
