University of Sindh to Celebrate 77th Independence Day with Elaborate Ceremonies

Jamshoro: The University of Sindh in Jamshoro, along with its affiliated campuses, is set to mark Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day with grand celebrations, featuring a flag-hoisting ceremony and a patriotic march.

According to University of Sindh, the main event will take place at the Haider Bakhsh Jatoi Pavilion in Madar Elmi, where Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro will lead the flag-hoisting at 9 AM. The ceremony will include the playing of the national anthem, a salute by the university’s security forces, and speeches dedicated to patriotism starting at 9:15 AM. Additionally, at 9:30 AM, various tableaus on the theme of patriotism will be presented, followed by a flag march and distribution of sweets among the attendees.

The celebrations are intended to foster a spirit of national pride and unity among students and staff across all campuses, including the Ms. Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Campus in Dadu, Syed Ul Hindu Shah Campus in Nowshahroferoz, Lad Campus in Badin, and the Sindh University Campus in Thatta, emphasizing the significance of Independence Day.
