Chitral: The University of Chitral has officially joined the CPEC Consortium, marking a significant step in its academic and research expansion, influenced by the efforts within the university and the broader China-Pakistan Economic Corridor initiative.

According to University of Chitral, this membership was achieved through the endeavors of Dr. Muhammad Romman, the additional Director of ORIC, under the guidance of the university’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahab. Dr. Safdar Ali Shah, the Director General of the CPEC Consortium at the Higher Education Commission in Islamabad, confirmed the university’s inclusion, which promises to enhance the educational and research opportunities for students and faculty alike by linking them with a network of academic institutions involved in CPEC.
