Poonch and Peshawar Universities Forge Partnership for Academic Exchange

Rawalakot: In a significant development for academic collaboration, the University of Poonch Rawalakot and the University of Peshawar have entered into a bilateral cooperation agreement focusing on the exchange of students and faculty, and enhancing research and teaching capacities in their respective International Relations departments.

According to University of Poonch Rawalakot, the memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed during a special ceremony at the university’s Chancellor’s Secretariat. The document was endorsed by Dr. Abdul Rauf, Registrar of Poonch University, and Prof. Dr. Hussain Shaheed Soharwardi, Chairman of the International Relations Department at Peshawar University. The ceremony was also attended by notable academics including Prof. Dr. Abid Hussain and Prof. Dr. Abdul Khaliq, with Dr. Uzma Munshi providing an overview of the agreement’s key aspects.

This agreement marks a step forward in fostering closer ties between educational institutions in Pakistan, promoting knowledge exchange, and expanding opportunities for students and faculty. It underscores the importance of inter-university cooperation in enhancing educational and research opportunities across different academic sectors.
