PTI Assures Peaceful Rally in Islamabad Amid Government Caution

Lahore: Musrat Jamshed Cheema, a senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), today assured that the party’s planned rally in Islamabad will be peaceful and criticized the government’s tactics, which he described as fear-mongering. This statement comes amid heightened tensions and the recent arrest of PTI’s Islamabad president, pointing to a strained pre-rally atmosphere.

According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Cheema highlighted that the public is well aware of the political maneuvers within the country and expressed confidence that the people’s participation in the rally would demonstrate their support for PTI. He urged the government and local administration to refrain from using tactics that could escalate tensions or obstruct the peaceful conduct of the rally.

Cheema’s statement emphasized the resolve of PTI leaders and supporters to continue their advocacy for the people’s rights despite facing challenges. He called on the authorities to allow the rally to proceed without interference, underscoring the party’s commitment to maintaining peace during the event.
