Jamshoro, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, has announced vacancies for the position of Research Assistant in the Department of Civil Engineering. Qualified candidates from Sindh are invited to apply for these contractual roles as part of the university’s commitment to advancing its research capabilities.

According to Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, the institution is looking to fill two Research Assistant positions. Candidates with a Master’s Degree (First Class) in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized University/Institution, and who have maintained a record with no third division in their academic career, are encouraged to apply.

The university has laid out specific instructions for the applicants, stating that the positions are temporary and contract-based. Furthermore, it is mandatory for applicants to have valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council as Registered Engineers (R.E). Only those shortlisted will be called for a written interview, and the final selection will be made by a panel of experts based on the interview performance.

MUET has emphasized that no travel or dearness allowance will be provided for appearing at the interview. Candidates are to submit their applications and comprehensive Curriculum Vitae along with relevant academic documents, including M.E and B.E degrees and transcripts, as a single PDF file via email to the provided address.

Applicants who make it to the interview stage will be required to present original documents and two sets of attested copies of their degrees and transcripts, NIC, domicile certificates, and passport size photos. It is also noted that incomplete applications will not be considered.

The deadline for application submissions is set for April 2, 2024, underscoring the urgency for interested individuals to prepare and send their applications promptly.
