Inaugural Inter-College Ramadan T20 Cup 2024 Launches in Lahore

Lahore, The much-anticipated Inter-College Ramadan T20 Cup 2024 is set to commence tonight in Lahore, marking the start of an exciting cricket tournament that spans three major cities in Pakistan. Following the Lahore leg, the tournament will continue with matches in Islamabad and Karachi, beginning on March 23.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the opening ceremony will take place at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, with Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi unveiling the tournament trophy and addressing the attendees. This decision to host matches in Lahore at the Gaddafi Stadium, a pivot from the originally planned LCCA, underscores the PCB’s commitment to offering a grand stage for the budding talent.

The Lahore leg’s 21 matches will be broadcast live on PTV Sports, ensuring wide exposure for the participating teams and showcasing competitive cricket to a broader audience. Additionally, fans can follow the ball-by-ball live scorecards through CricHQ, enhancing the accessibility and engagement of the tournament.

Participants will have the privilege of using the Gaddafi Stadium’s professional facilities, including the home and away dressing rooms and playing on pitches curated by the stadium’s ground staff. In a move to encourage community support and involvement, the PCB has announced free entry for spectators, specifically opening the Fazal Mahmood enclosure to the public an hour before each game starts.

The subsequent legs of the tournament in Islamabad will be hosted at the Miusam Cricket Ground, while Karachi’s matches will take place at the Eid Gah Ground Nazimabad and IBA Karachi University Ground, promising a widespread celebration of cricket across the nation.
