Aseefa Bhutto Zardari Champions People’s Plight at PPP Convention in Larkana

Larkana, At a Pakistan Peoples Party convention held in Anwarabad, Larkana, Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, daughter of the late Benazir Bhutto, emphasized the unique position of the PPP in standing with the people of Pakistan through every challenge. Her speech underscored the party’s dedication to serving the populace, contrasting its mission with other parties’ self-serving politics.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari hailed the achievements of the PPP under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, particularly highlighting the party’s focus on healthcare, education, and disaster relief. She detailed the establishment of leading healthcare institutions in Sindh, which offer free treatments to people across Pakistan, and mentioned the launch of Rescue 1122 in Larkana, Peoples Bus Service, and various educational initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the local population.

Aseefa Bhutto Zardari also pointed to the PPP’s response to the historic floods in Sindh, noting Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s efforts to support affected communities, including the construction of 200,000 houses for flood victims. She promised further housing projects, the introduction of ‘Benazir Kissan, Mazdoor, and Youth’ cards, regularization of temporary housing, and a commitment to doubling employee salaries, eradicating inflation, and providing free solar electricity to the needy if the PPP is given a mandate in the upcoming elections.

The convention resonated with tributes to the legacy of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, with attendees expressing their continued reverence for the leaders with slogans affirming their enduring presence in the hearts of the people. Aseefa Bhutto Zardari called upon PPP supporters to actively campaign for the party, ensuring a robust turnout at the polls to secure a prosperous future for Pakistan under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Faryal Talpur, the President of the Women’s Wing of the PPP, and other notable candidates from Larkana also spoke at the event, urging women to vote early due to the winter season and highlighting the party’s manifesto promises, including salary increases, free education, and improved healthcare. The speakers collectively emphasized the PPP’s commitment to overcoming challenges, including tribal disputes, to ensure education for all, particularly girls, as a cornerstone for the nation’s progress.
