Lahore, The women’s cycling team of Punjab University emerged victorious in the 11th All Pakistan Interuniversity Women’s Cycling Championship 2023-24, held at Kinnaird College for Women University. This significant achievement was complemented by the university’s gymnastics team securing second place in the 20th All Pakistan Intervarsity Gymnastics Championship hosted by Government College University Lahore.

According to University of The Punjab, the cycling championship witnessed the participation of 13 teams, with Punjab University’s Ms. Uswa being named the Best Cyclist of the championship. In the gymnastics championship, the Punjab University team competed against 11 other teams to clinch the runner-up position.

Prof Dr. Zafar Iqbal Butt, Director of Sports at Punjab University, extended his congratulations to both the teams and officials for their commendable performances and achievements in these prestigious national sporting events.
