Posters Exhibition at Fatima Jinnah Medical University Showcases Student Research and Health Education

Lahore, The Department of Community Medicine at Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU), Lahore, held a poster exhibition featuring quality research and health education. The event, held under the patronage of the esteemed Vice Chancellor of FJMU, Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, showcased the innovative work of fourth-year MBBS students.

According to Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Lahore, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, along with the Ex-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Aamir Zaman Khan, inaugurated the exhibition. The event also saw the participation of prominent faculty members including Dean Basic Sciences/ HOD Anatomy Prof. Dr. Aliya Zahid, HOD Pharmacology Prof. Dr. Lubna Amir, HOD Pathology Prof. Dr. Ameena Ashraf, and HOD Physiology Department Prof. Dr. Naghmana Latif, who served as Research Poster Judges. HOD Biochemistry Dr. Noor Ul Ain and HOD Preventive Paediatrics Dr. Rameeza Kaleem joined as Health Education Poster Judges.

Dr. Taskeen Zahra and her team supervised the exhibition, which was marked by enthusiastic participation from students presenting their research posters and health education materials. The posters were critically analyzed by the Vice Chancellor and guests, who commended the Department of Community Medicine and the students for their efforts. The innovative thoughts and complexity of the poster designs by the students were particularly appreciated.

The exhibition concluded with a reaffirmation of FJMU’s commitment to promoting quality research and medical education, under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal.
