Rawalpindi, Fatima Jinnah Women University in Rawalpindi has announced that its Convocation for the 2023 graduates is tentatively scheduled for January 18, 2024.

According to Fatima Jinnah Women University, all graduates, including those from BS, Masters, M.Phil, and PhD programs who wish to attend the convocation, must register in their respective departments by December 15, 2023. The convocation fee, including all charges, is set at PKR 4000 per student.

The university has also issued specific guidelines for students attending the convocation. These include mandatory registration and invitation cards, adherence to a strict dress code, no unattended guests due to security reasons, compliance with designated timings, and a ban on mobile phones, handbags, and cameras during the convocation ceremony. The university emphasizes strict adherence to the dress code and other requirements, stating that any non-compliance will result in students being barred from the rehearsal and convocation proceedings. Other rules include a prohibition on children attending the rehearsal and convocation, no changes in guest details after registration, and conditions under which brothers of students may attend as guests. Students must complete all degree requirements before registration, and late registration fees apply after December 15. The university has clarified that registration for the convocation is not mandatory for students who choose not to attend, and no exceptions to the rules will be entertained.
