Bahawalpur, August 28, 2023 (PPI-OT): A seminar titled Sustainable Development Vision 2030 was organized in Pakistan in collaboration with United Nations and Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bahawalpur. On behalf of Islamia University Bahawalpur, Associate Professor Dr. Rubina Yasmin, Dr. Saeed Ahmed, Department of Pakistan Studies, Dr. Muhammad Mumtaz, Department of Urdu and Athar Lashari, Department of Saraiki expressed their views.

On this occasion, the former Principal Fine Art College of Islamia University Bahawalpur Professor Dr. Nasrullah Khan Nasir also highlighted the historical socio-economic situation of Bahawalpur. Women belonging to different schools of thought discussed the issues of Bahawalpur and Pakistan.

17 points regarding sustainable development 2030 were presented in the seminar. The discussion focused on four themes including access to basic social services including education, water, sanitation and hygiene, youth employment and skills, and how to move towards inclusive, accountable and effective governance.
