Islamabad, September 07, 2021 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 84% Pakistanis are aware that in order to get registered for the COVID-19 vaccination through the government, they need to text their CNIC to 1166.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “How do you register for vaccination through the government?” In response to this question, 84% chose the option of SMS-ing the CNIC number to 1166, 15% stated that it is walk-in i.e. going to get vaccinated at any nearby vaccination center, and 1% chose the option of going through National Immunization Management System (NIMS website).
