36% of Pakistanis consider the threat of coronavirus to be exaggerated – a 19% decrease since the previous wave in July: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, October 11, 2021 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 36% of Pakistanis consider the threat of coronavirus to be exaggerated – a 19% decrease since the previous wave in July.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “To what extent do you agree/disagree that the threat of Coronavirus is being exaggerated?” In response to this question, 37% completely disagreed, 18% somewhat disagreed, 16% somewhat agreed, 12% completely agreed while 7% did not know. 2% did not provide any response.
