Islamabad, April 01, 2022 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 25% of Pakistanis believe that Coronavirus has already been eliminated in Pakistan.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “Which of the following do you think would indicate that the COVID-19 disease is coming to an end?” In response to this question, 33% said when 75% of Pakistan’s population will be vaccinated against COVID-19, 9% said when the spread of COVID-19 in Pakistan will be completely stopped, 13% said when there will be fewer reports of new cases in Pakistan, 6% said when the number of deaths from Coronavirus in Pakistan will be very low, 25% said Coronavirus has already been eliminated in Pakistan, 14% said don’t know and 2% gave no response.
Question: “Which of the following do you think would indicate that the COVID-19 disease is coming to an end?”
