King Fahd University Scholarship 2023 in Saudi Arabia Fully Funded

Islamabad, June 01, 2023 (PPI-OT): King Fahd University Scholarship 2023 in Saudi Arabia is Open to all International applicants who want to gain their higher education abroad. Applications are accepted from the whole world for Fully Funded Scholarships who want to continue Master and Ph.D. degrees. King Fahd University offers All Academic Programs including M.B.A, All Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Engineering and Sciences Fields are available at the King Fahd University Scholarship. No Application Fee will be charged by the University.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Master Programs:

Four-year Bachelor’s degree

Grade-Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher at a rate of 4.00 or equivalent, with a GPA of 00 in the main sector.

For Ph.D. Programs:

S. Graduation (after four years of BS degree).

A minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or equivalent to both B.S. and M.S. degrees.

Lahore, June 01, 2023 (PPI-OT): Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Wah, in his meeting with Prof. Dr. Hamdullah Çuvalci, Rector, Karadeniz Technical University (KTU), Turkiye expresses his desire to establish and retain collaboration with KTU as a memorandum was signed between the two universities back in 2021 and is valid until 27 October 2026.

KTU was established in 1955 and is the fourth-oldest university in Turkiye. Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un-Nabi cordially invited him to visit the University of Wah and assured him of all possible help to assist and host future KTU researchers in establishing connections with nuclear experts and in their research related to nuclear power plants.

Dr. Imran Batada Signs Contract with NAVTTC for Free High-Tech Courses

Karachi, June 01, 2023 (PPI-OT): Dr. Imran Batada, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Director Center for Information Technology (CIT) at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), Karachi has signed a contract with NAVTTC. “This program holds a special place in my heart as I had the opportunity to work on the PC1 document for this initiative,” Dr. Batada said on the occasion.

These courses will be provided free of cost to the youth, paving the way for increased remote job opportunities and a growing community of freelancers. By directly impacting the GDP of Pakistan, this initiative has proven to be instrumental in moving our country in the right direction and building the capacity of our youth.

Baseball United Announces Official Partnership with Pakistan Federation Baseball

Lahore, June 01, 2023 (PPI-OT): The two organizations will work together to drive player development, fan engagement, and sponsorship activation across Pakistan and within the U.S. Pakistani community Baseball United, the first-ever professional baseball league focused on the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent, announced an exclusive partnership with Pakistan Federation Baseball. The agreement will enable strategic integration of the two organization’s growth plans, with a focus on player development, national team training, fan experience, community outreach, global publicity, and sponsorship. Pakistan Federation Baseball is internationally recognized by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), and the Pakistan national baseball team is the highest ranked of any team in the region.

Pakistan Federation Baseball was founded by Late Syed Khawar Shah in 1992 and has grown into the preeminent baseball federation within South Asia over the last three decades. Today, the federation is led by Late Khawar Shah’s son, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, who also serves as the Vice-President of the Baseball Federation of Asia. Pakistan baseball has won 10 championships in tournaments across Asia over the last 15 years, including most recently at the West Asia Cup, presented by Baseball United, in Islamabad, Pakistan in January of this year.

Baseball United began its grassroots work within the region earlier this year, sponsoring and broadcasting the West Asia Cup in Islamabad, Pakistan. At the conclusion of that tournament, Baseball United hosted the first-ever “Baseball United Unity Classic”, a friendly exhibition between Pakistan and India. It was the first time in history that India’s national baseball team played against Pakistan’s national team on Pakistani soil. Moving forward, Baseball United will work to help the most talented players of Pakistani origin compete for the national team, as well as help bring sponsors and revenue to bolster Pakistan Federation Baseball’s yearly operations and impact.

In addition to Shaikh, Baseball United’s ownership group includes Major League Baseball Hall of Famer’s Barry Larkin from the Cincinnati Reds and Mariano Rivera from the New York Yankees, as well as Texas Rangers Hall of Famer Adrian Beltre, and Seattle Mariners Hall of Famer Felix Hernandez. The league announced its first franchise, the Mumbai Cobras, earlier this month. The Cobras are also the first professional baseball franchise in the history of India and the surrounding region. Baseball United will host its inaugural Dubai Showcase this November. The Showcase will feature the league’s first four franchises, the second of which will be announced Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
