CHITRAL: Technology and AI Day was celebrated at the University of Chitral, highlighting student innovation in artificial intelligence and technology-based solutions. The event, organized by the Department of Computer Science in collaboration with Hindukush Soft Technologies, aimed to foster technological advancement among students.

According to University of Chitral, the event featured Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah as the chief guest, with participation from CEO of Hindukush Soft Technologies Abuzar Mishwani and Dr. Nizam, Head of the Department of Management Sciences. Additional Deputy Commissioner Lower Chitral, Mr. Abdul Salam, also attended as a special guest, commending student participation in AI-related activities.

Students from Upper and Lower Chitral showcased AI models designed to offer practical solutions for real-world issues. The event included an AI Challenge Hackathon where student teams presented their AI-based projects. Neuraflix from the University of Chitral secured first place, followed by AI Innovator and Guardian AI from Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, with Safe Child AI from Government Degree College taking fourth place.

The programme concluded with recognition for the efforts of students, faculty, organizers, and partner institutions in promoting technology, innovation, and AI education in Chitral.
