Scheduled to take place at the Pindi Cricket Stadium from February 9 to 13, the match promises to be a showcase of top-tier cricket, featuring two of the tournament’s standout teams.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, both WAPDA and SNGPL have earned their spots in the final after leading the points table following seven rounds of intense competition. WAPDA, with a commendable record of five wins from six matches, topped the table with 62 points. Close behind, SNGPL secured their final berth with 57 points, achieved through four wins and one drawn match, showcasing the skill and determination of both teams throughout the tournament.
Iftikhar Ahmed, leading WAPDA, and Asad Shafiq, captain of SNGPL, will be at the helm for their respective teams, bringing their experience and leadership qualities to what is expected to be a closely contested final. Key players to watch include Umar Akmal, WAPDA’s leading run-scorer with 489 runs from six games, and SNGPL’s top batsman Abid Ali, who has tallied 532 runs in six matches.
