Islamabad, August 31, 2021 (PPI-OT):Vice President Academics Prof. Dr. Ayaz Afsar paid surprise visits on the last day of admission examination at the male and female campuses. The Vice President inspected the examination centers at Department of Psychology and Department of Public Relations and IR. On the occasion, he was briefed by head of departments and other relevant officials.
During inspection visit, he reviewed examination process at exam centers and showed satisfaction over strict discipline and implementation of pandemic SOPs. On the occasion, he instructed the examination personnel to provide a comfortable environment to students during examination so that they can perform best during examination.
On the occasion, the vice president was briefed about the previous tests held at the Faculty of Social Science. It was apprised that as many as 4000 candidates appeared in the test of 08 BS programs of Faculty. He was told that in compliance with COVID SOPs, the entrance exam was held in three groups.
Meanwhile, according to details sent by Department of Biological Sciences (Female), it successfully conducted MS and BS admission tests. More than 1000 female candidates appeared for the test in MS Biotechnology, BS Biotechnology and BS Biology. Admission test was conducted in forty different rooms of Maryam block, Fatima block and Dar e Munaira with full protocols of SOPs. Admission test in BS Biotechnology and BS Biology was conducted on 27th of August.
