Jamshoro, The University of Sindh in Jamshoro has released its schedule for administrative and teaching activities during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, detailing specific working hours for its staff and students. This schedule adjustment aims to accommodate the observance of Ramadan while maintaining the university’s operational efficiency.
According to University of Sindh, Registrar Professor Dr. Mushtaq Ali Jariko announced that the administrative departments will operate from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm during Ramadan, with an early closure at 1:00 pm on Fridays. Similarly, the teaching schedule has been adapted to fit the fasting period, with classes running from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and until 12:30 pm on Fridays. Evening classes have also been rescheduled to take place from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday, including a designated prayer break on Fridays from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
These Ramadan-specific hours are set to be implemented from the day following the sighting of the Ramadan moon and will apply throughout the holy month, allowing the university community to engage in religious observances while ensuring the continuation of academic and administrative functions.
