University of Sindh Conducts Aptitude Test for Art and Design Admissions

Jamshoro, The University of Sindh’s Institute of Art and Design in Jamshoro has recently conducted an aptitude test for admission into its bachelor degree programs. The test, covering four departments – Fine Arts, Communication Design, Textile Design, and Art History – is a key step in the admission process for the academic year 2024.

According to University of Sindh, Prof. Saeed Ahmed Mangi, the eligibility test was successfully held for candidates seeking admission to the aforementioned programs. The test was part of the university’s broader admission process for the academic year 2024. Candidates who had selected these four fields and scored at least 30 marks in the entrance test conducted by the Sindh University Testing Center were eligible to appear for the aptitude test.

The university has also made provisions for candidates who were unable to attend the test on January 2 due to any reason. An additional session of the aptitude test will be conducted on January 3, giving these candidates another opportunity to participate in the admission process.

Prof. Saeed Ahmed Mangi emphasized the importance of the aptitude test for candidates interested in pursuing degrees in fine arts, communication design, textile design, and art history. He encouraged all eligible candidates to appear for the test scheduled on January 3 to ensure their consideration for admission to these competitive programs.
