University of Sargodha Wraps Up Faculty Development Workshop

Sargodha: A three-day workshop aimed at enhancing faculty professional development concluded at the University of Sargodha on Friday. The training session, organized by the Human Resource Development Center, focused on building decision-making skills, stress management, and modern educational techniques for teachers.

According to University of Sargodha, the workshop titled “Teaching Re-defined: Professional Growth” drew participation from over 100 faculty members across various departments. The event was designed to bolster the teaching capabilities of educators, equipping them with advanced tools and methodologies essential for contemporary educational challenges.

Professor Dr. Mian Ghulam Yaseen, Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Sargodha, highlighted the significance of such initiatives in his address at the concluding ceremony. He emphasized the necessity for continuous professional enhancement and the adoption of innovative teaching perspectives to better serve student education and training.

Education expert Dr. Khurram Ilahi also spoke at the event, advocating for ongoing learning and adaptation among educators to stay abreast of new teaching strategies. He underscored the importance of preparing students for both academic success and practical life challenges.
