Karachi, The University of Haripur recently hosted a pioneering seminar titled “Decoding the Last Frontier in the Human Body: The Brain,” in a remarkable display of cross-disciplinary collaboration between its Departments of Information Technology and Biology. The event aimed to deepen understanding of the human brain, featuring experts from various fields of study.
According to The University of Haripur, the seminar focused on exploring the multifaceted aspects of neurobiology and cognitive processes, along with the latest developments in neuroscience research. This initiative was instrumental in fostering an interactive dialogue, bridging the gap between technology and biology.
Dr. Aamir Saeed Malik, from the Department of Computer Systems at the Faculty of Information Technology, BRNO University of Technology, Czech Republic, was the keynote speaker. With his expertise at the intersection of computer systems and neuroscience, Dr. Malik offered a unique technological perspective on the complexities of the human brain.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Haripur, Prof Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman, attended the seminar and emphasized the significance of interdisciplinary research in unraveling the brain’s mysteries. Prof. Dr. Muhtaj Khan, Chairman/Dean of the Department of IT and Numerical Sciences, and Dr. Aziz Ullah Khan, Chairman of the Department of Biology, were also present.
