University of Education, Lahore Hosts International Mathematics Conference

LAHORE, The 2nd International Conference on “Recent Advances in Mathematics” (CORAM 2023) commenced at the University of Education, Lahore. The hybrid-mode conference, organized by the Department of Mathematics, began on December 4, 2023, and will continue until December 5. It features the participation of 1300 national and international researchers from 15 countries, both in-person and online, with 100 research papers scheduled for presentation.

According to University of Education – Lahore, the conference’s opening ceremony took place at the university’s main campus township, presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Alam Saeed. The chief guest was the Vice Chancellor of Government College University, Lahore, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adnan. The Conference Chair, Professor Dr. Muhammad Azam, welcomed the attendees and outlined the conference’s aims and objectives.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Alam Saeed emphasized the conference’s role as an intellectual platform for contemporary researchers and scholars to exchange ideas. He highlighted the significance of the conference in discussing current socio-industrial realities and the latest advancements in mathematics. The conference also serves as a venue for mathematicians, including pioneers in the field, to collaborate and contribute to the advancement of science and technology.

The Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Adnan, commended the University of Education for organizing the conference, emphasizing its importance in fostering innovation. The event drew a large audience, including prominent faculty members such as Professor Dr. Rana Abrar Hussain, Professor Dr. Asad Miraj, Professor Dr. Muhammad Umar Saleem, and Dr. Abdul Majeed, reflecting the university’s commitment to promoting a culture of research and innovation.
