Lahore, September 22, 2021 (PPI-OT):A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the University of Management and Technology (UMT) and Constructing Excellence International (CEI), a platform from which to stimulate, debate, and drive much-needed change in the construction sector. They have been delivering best-practices and knowledge transfer for more than 20 years.
The MoU was signed through the Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements (OCLP) in joint collaboration with the Housing Research Centre (HRC) in the School of Architecture and Planning (SAP), to strengthen the Industry and Academia linkages and to align maximum opportunities for UMT participants including:
Promotion of international construction standards in Pakistan
Designing of legal and policy framework for the construction sector
Mutual research and development projects
Joint collaboration for Government projects and meetings
Training and certification courses
Internship and job opportunities for UMT participants
