Lahore: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has taken a significant step in enhancing student services by introducing a new state-of-the-art ambulance at its New Campus, aimed at providing round-the-clock emergency medical support to the university community.
According to University of Engineering and Technology, the initiative was led by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, who has emphasized the importance of improving facilities and essential services for students. The new ambulance was officially handed over to Prof. Dr. Amjad Hussain, Campus Coordinator at the New Campus. Dr. Muhammad Asim, Chairman of the Transport Committee at UET Lahore, was also present during the handover ceremony and was instrumental in the procurement process of the ambulance. The service is expected to offer immediate medical assistance within the campus premises, reinforcing the university's commitment to student welfare.
