Lahore, July 16, 2022 (PPI-OT):Former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and former Federal Minister Moonis Elahi. National Assembly members Hussain Elahi, Mehboob Shah, Humayun Khan MPA and former provincial minister Asif Nakai were also present in the meeting. In the meeting, the by-elections and the political situation of Punjab were discussed in detail.
Ch Pervez Elahi said that July 17 is the day of victory of truth and truth, Insha-Allah turncoats and bogus rulers will be sent home packing. He said that now the people have woken up, Insha-Allah they cannot be misled by fake announcements and gimmicks.
He said that today is our test as well as a tougher and bigger test of the Election Commission as to how it proves its impartiality. The Election Commission has a golden opportunity to prove its impartiality and wash away its past wrongdoings. We are forewarning the Election Commission to play its role according to the constitution.
Ch Pervez Elahi said that the workers of PTI and PML are on guard to stop rigging, the international media is not only keeping a close eye on the circumstances but its presence will be seen at all the polling stations.
Former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser said that the turncoats in the by-elections will face a crushing defeat, all the rigging plans will be resisted. The decision of the people in Punjab on July 17 will be in favor of Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan’s successful rallies are a referendum against the rulers, the people of Punjab are ready to get rid of the imported government.
