TNFJ Leader Allama Agha Syed Hussain Maqdisi Criticizes Silence on Israeli Actions, Calls for Unified Muslim Defense

Rawalpindi: In a forceful address during a central cabinet meeting of the Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Fiqah Jafaria (TNFJ), Allama Agha Syed Hussain Maqdisi condemned what he described as the Greater Israel agenda driving the attack on Iran, calling for an urgent reevaluation of defense strategies among Muslim nations and a unified stance against perceived Israeli aggressions.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Maqdisi’s remarks underscored a broader criticism of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which he claimed has strayed from its original goals towards a path of colonialism. He emphasized that silence from Muslim countries on issues of Israeli brutality reflects a concerning nonchalance towards the threats facing the Islamic world. He argued that any attack on a Muslim country should be viewed as an assault on all of Islam, advocating for a collective defense mechanism among Islamic nations to prevent further isolated attacks.

Maqdisi also addressed internal security issues, particularly recent terrorist activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s cities such as Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, and Bannu, highlighting the ongoing struggle against terrorism within Pakistan. He praised the sacrifices of Pakistani security forces and stressed the importance of fully implementing the National Action Plan to eradicate terrorism.

Moreover, he critiqued the dependency of Muslim rulers on colonial frameworks to maintain power and urged a shift towards mutual unity for the real and lasting welfare of the Islamic community. Maqdisi’s speech painted a dire picture of the geopolitical landscape, with specific focus on the need for active resistance against external aggressions and internal disruptions aimed at undermining Muslim countries’ sovereignty and stability.
