Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh Jafariya Highlights Rights and Legacy of Fatima Zahra on Martyrdom Anniversary

Rawalpindi, On the occasion of the martyrdom day of Hazrat Fatima Al-Zahra, Allama Agha Hussain Maqdisi, head of Tehreek Nifaz Fiqh Jafaria Pakistan (TNFJ), emphasized the uncompromising stance on the rights of Fatima Zahra and her legacy as an exemplary woman of Islam. The day was marked with respect and devotion across Pakistan, echoing the sentiments of honoring religious figures and national rights.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Allama Maqdisi, in his address, asserted the importance of following the example of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (a.s.) and rejecting the influence of the West. He stressed the necessity of ensuring justice and an end to terrorism for effective peace plans. Maqdisi also called for the government to rebuild the mausoleums of Islam in Jannat al-Baqi and Jannat al-Mali, specifically the shrine of Sayyida Fatima Zahra (a.s.), under the Mousa June 21, 1985 agreement. He urged diplomatic pressure on the government of Saudi Arabia for the restoration of these significant sites.

The commemoration also included a procession in Rawalpindi, where thousands of mourners participated despite the severe cold. The procession, organized by Jarrar Hussain Jafari, passed through designated routes, concluding at Imambargah Kashmiriyan. Majlis-e-Iza and mourning programs were held, featuring addresses by Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Zakir Ghulam Farid Jafar, and others, who paid tribute to Hazrat Fatima Zahra.

The Rawalpindi administration ensured special arrangements for the procession’s route, with a heavy presence of administration officers and police. The day’s events underscored the deep reverence for Hazrat Fatima Zahra within the Shia community and highlighted the ongoing efforts to honor religious figures and advocate for their rights and recognition.
