Wah Cantt, August 26, 2021 (PPI-OT):An MoU between Read Pakistan Trust and University of Wah was signed on 17 August, 2021. According to the terms and conditions of the MoU, UW will be facilitated as per following:

Read 50 Books A Year International Competition

Writing Competition

Read Pakistan Book Club

Readers Conference

Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ahmad delivered an introductory presentation on the functioning and research activities of UW. Mr Farrukh Dall, Chairman, Read Pakistan Trust and Prof Dr Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Wah signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions. In the end, Prof Dr Jameel-Un Nabi presented the University shield to Mr Farrukh Dall.

Wah Cantt, August 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):Department of English organized a webinar on “The Beauty and Challenges of Writing African Literature in the Diaspora” on 16 August, 2021. Dr. Patricia Jabbeh Wesley, a theorist, author of multiple books and a renowned poetess of African Literature, was the guest speaker. Currently, she is serving as a Professor of English at Pennsylvania State University, UK. The interactive session elaborating African diasporic literature by the poetess ended with a lively question answer session.

Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Wah joined the session and exchanged thoughts with the guest speaker. A large number of participants, both national and international, attended the webinar. In the end, Associate Professor Dr. Rasib Mahmood, Chairperson, Department of English extended his gratitude to Dr Patricia Jabbeh Wesley for her insightful talk.

Wah Cantt, August 06, 2021 (PPI-OT):Counselling and Placement Directorate (CPD) conducted a webinar on “Foreign Education Prospects and Opportunities” on August 04, 2021. Ms. Aisha Akbar Awan, Manager- International collaborations, was the guest speaker. The webinar aimed at addressing potential students aiming to pursue their education in foreign universities. Ms. Aisha Akbar Awan shared useful links and information with students and briefed them about how to prepare application package. More than 80 students from various departments of UW attended the webinar. The webinar ended with an interactive QA session.
