Almost half Pakistanis (45%) don’t know how to ride a bicycle: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, March 16, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, almost half Pakistanis (45%) don’t know how to ride a bicycle.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “Please tell if you know how to ride a bicycle?” In response, 55% said yes while 45% responded no.

39% Pakistanis see a doctor, 25% drink Joshanda to usually treat fever and cold: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, March 15, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 39% Pakistanis see a doctor, 25% drink Joshanda to usually treat fever and cold.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the following as a follow up question, “What do you usually do to treat fever and cold?” In response, 39% said they see a doctor, 25% said they drink Joshanda, 17% said they resort to self-medication, 10% said they restrict their diet, 4% said they don’t do anything while 3% said that they rest to treat fever and cold.

Islamabad, March 14, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 65% Pakistanis think that it is right to donate eyes to deserving people in your life.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, who responded yes to the question “Some people think that it is a good thing to donate your eyes to deserving people in your life, while others are not in favour of it. What is your opinion about it?” In response, 65% said it is right while 24% said that it is wrong.

Question: “Some people think that it is a good thing to donate your eyes to deserving people in your life, while others are not in favour of it. What is your opinion about it?”

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, who responded yes to the question “Some people donate eyes etc. in their life. Have you ever read about it?” In response, 50% said no while 50% responded yes.

Islamabad, March 10, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, China tops Pakistan’s preference for security partnership with 54% people choosing China as a security partner, followed by US (14%), Russia (7%) and EU (3%).

A representative sample of men and women in Pakistan was asked the following question: “Which of the following would you prefer your country to partner with for security – the US, China, Russia, or the EU? If there is another preference, please state it?” 54% responded China, 14% preferred US, 7% said Russia while 9% said others and only 3% said that they would prefer a security partnership with The EU.

Islamabad, March 09, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, more than half Pakistani’s (56%) prefer to have an economic partnership with China. 13% want it with US.

A representative sample of men and women in Pakistan was asked the following question: “Which of the following would you prefer your country to partner with economically – the US, China, Russia, or the EU? If there is another preference, please state it?” 56% responded China, 13% preferred US, 8% said Russia while another 8% said Others and only 4% said that they would prefer an economic partnership with The EU.
