Stellar Performances Mark Inter College Ramadan T20 Cup in Karachi

Karachi, The Inter College Ramadan T-20 Cup, sponsored by the Pakistan Cricket Board and organized by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi, showcased thrilling cricket action with City School and Happy Palace Green College securing wins in their respective matches. Highlight performances included Hamza Qureshi’s century and Umer Ejaz’s exceptional bowling.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, City School defeated Government Pakistan Shipowners College by 47 runs at the IBA Karachi University Ground. Hamza Qureshi starred with the first century of the tournament, scoring 103, while Umer Usman contributed a significant 61 runs. Government Pakistan Shipowners College put up a fight, with Abdul Rafay ul Haq scoring 47, but fell short in their chase.

In the second match of the day, Happy Palace Green College overcame Government Dehli College by 43 runs at the Eid Gah Ground Nazimabad. Arham Ashraf’s 42 led Happy Palace Green College to a competitive total, with Umer Ejaz taking 4 wickets for 18 runs to dismantle the opposition’s batting lineup.

The tournament’s standout performers, Hamza Qureshi and Umer Ejaz, were both awarded cash prizes of Rs.5000 each as players of the match, with the presentations made by dignitaries including former first-class cricketer Zafar Ahmed.
