Lahore, January 05, 2022 (PPI-OT):Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and Federal Minister for Water Resources Moonis Elahi called on Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar at the Chief Minister’s House here in which the political situation, local body elections and public welfare schemes were discussed in detail. The Chief Minister Punjab and the Speaker Punjab Assembly agreed to further strengthen the working relationship.
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar said that together they will participate in the local body elections. CM Usman Buzdar said that Punjab has an excellent working relationship with Pakistan Muslim League and consultation with him on important issues will continue in future also.
He said that the journey of serving the people would be further accelerated, we will respond to the critics with our performance, the lasting work done during the PTI government was unparalleled in the past. In a short span of time, relief has been provided to the people and facilities have been created for them. Sardar Usman Buzdar said that the opposition has neither a statement nor a strategy.
Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi said that we will continue to work together for the provision of relief to the people. We are moving the alliance forward with sincerity. Consultations will continue to bring joint candidates in the local body elections. Principal Secretary to CM Punjab Amir Jaan and Secretary Punjab Assembly Muhammad Khan Bhatti were also present in the meeting.
