Sindh College Games Commence with Opening Ceremony in Hyderabad Region

Thatta, The 6th Sindh College Games in the Hyderabad region officially kicked off with a grand opening ceremony, marking the start of intra-district competitions for both boys and girls under the supervision of regional committees and organizers across the districts. The event was inaugurated with girls’ events, overseen by the Convener of the Senior Director of Physical Education at Government Boys College Mukli Thatta, Abdul Aziz Khaskheli, and Chief Member of the Central Organizing Committee, Parvez Ahmed Sheikh.

According to College Education Department Government of Sindh, Professor Muhammad Ali Malik, and Focal Person Khurram Rafi Siddiqui, the girls’ events commenced with enthusiasm. Ayesha Aram, a member of the regional committee for Girls Badminton and Throwball, Mrs. Neema Shakeel, and District Sports Officer Azhar Ali Brohi were among those who took part in the inauguration of the events.

Following the opening ceremony at the Sports Complex, girls’ badminton competitions began, with Mrs. Neema Shakeel inaugurating the service. In the final match, Girls College Thatta secured a 2-0 victory over Girls College Sajawal. Additionally, in the throball category, Girls College Thatta demonstrated a strong performance and emerged victorious with a score of 2-0 against Sajawal. Azhar Ali Brohi, DSO Thatta, inaugurated the throwball event by throwing the ball.

The matches were closely supervised by Rahim Ali Bilal, Lubiqa Javed, and Muniba Shaikh. The opening ceremony witnessed a large number of girls’ college students in attendance, marking the commencement of spirited competitions in the 6th Sindh College Games.
