Bahawalpur, November 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):Organized by the Department of Islamic Studies, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, a seminar titled “Basic Principles and Practices of Islamic Banks” was organized at Ghotvi Hall, Abbasia Campus. It was presided over by Professor Dr. Sheikh Shafiqur Rahman, Dean Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Learning, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Representatives of State Bank of Pakistan and NRSP also participated in this event.
The Chairman of the Department of Islamic Studies, Dr. Muhammad Imran thanked the distinguished guests and said that the teachers and students of his department welcomed Mufti Sheikh Nauman, Senior Sharia Scholar.
Mufti Nauman expressed his gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Learning and Chairman of the Department of Islamic Studies and gave a speech on Islamic Banking. Finally, the Dean Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Learning, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur thanked the Chief Guest, Department of Sciences.
