Rawalpindi Marks Jannat-ul-Baqi Demolition Day with Major Mourning Procession

Rawalpindi, Today, the central mourning protest procession for Jannat-ul-Baqi Demolition Day will take place, starting from Imambargah Nasir-ul-Azza on Murree Road. This event commemorates the destruction of sacred shrines by Al Saud, with community leaders calling for broad participation and reflection on global injustices.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the day’s proceedings will begin at 10 AM at the Imambargah with a Majlis-e-Iza, where scholars from various schools of thought will speak. The mourning procession, set to start at 2 PM, will pass through Committee Chowk and conclude at Imambargah, Colonel Maqbool Hussain College Road. Organizers urge followers of all schools of thought to join in solidarity against international issues, including the actions of Israeli forces and the oppression faced by communities in Kashmir and Palestine.
