Punjab University Mathematics Department to Host Seminar on Advanced Mathematical Concepts

Lahore, The Department of Mathematics at the University of Punjab is set to host a weekly seminar on Thursday, April 18, 2024, featuring discussions on advanced topics in the field, including derivations on Lie algebras and graph theory.

According to University of The Punjab, the seminar will commence at 3:00 PM in the Seminar Hall of the Mathematics Department. Scheduled presentations from distinguished speakers, namely Kinza Abdul Ghaffar, Muhammad Mudassir Abbas, and Muhammad Bilal, will cover specialized topics such as “Variants of derivation on Lie algebras,” “ISI energy change due to an edge deletion,” and “a-distance energies and spectral radii of graph operations.”

The university has extended invitations to all faculty members and research scholars, particularly those involved in MPhil and PhD programs, to engage in this academic discourse. The coordinator of the Departmental Seminar Series, Dr. Zeeshan Yousaf, emphasizes the significance of these seminars in fostering an environment of scholarly discussion and research collaboration.
