LAHORE: Punjab University on Sunday conducted its undergraduate admission entry tests across the country as part of its centralized admission process. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, along with key university officials, visited various examination centers to oversee the arrangements.
According to University of the Punjab, more than 31,000 students had registered for the entry test, with examination centers established in cities including Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, Gilgit, and Skardu. These centers were set up to accommodate candidates and provide necessary facilities for them and their guardians.
A spokesperson from the university reported that the entry test was held at 105 centers nationwide, covering seven different categories for all undergraduate programs. The entry test contributes 25 percent to the admission merit formula. To further assist students, the test was conducted in two shifts, and guidance stalls along with a shuttle service were provided at the New Campus for the convenience of candidates and their parents.
