Lahore, In an initiative to bolster the sports sector in Punjab, Director General Sports Punjab, Pervez Iqbal, along with leading figures from the Pakistan Federation Baseball and Punjab Cycling Association, convened to outline strategic steps aimed at nurturing a vibrant future for athletes in various sports disciplines. The discussions, focused particularly on baseball and cycling, highlighted the commitment to advancing these sports on both a national and Olympic level.
According to Pakistan Federation Baseball, the meeting included Secretary General and Vice President of the Baseball Federation of Asia, Syed Fakhr Ali Shah; Chairman of the Punjab Cycling Association, Moazzam Khan Clear; and other key stakeholders. The agenda primarily revolved around the establishment of a dedicated baseball ground in Punjab and the organization of upcoming tournaments to facilitate the sport’s growth. The initiative reflects a broader ambition to propel baseball, among other sports, onto a path of rapid development within Pakistan.
