Lahore, December 13, 2022 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister’s Youth Programme in collaboration with Milker Pakistan held Flood Heroes Award Ceremony on December 05, 2022 at Prime Minister’s Office Islamabad. The ceremony was organized to admire young volunteers in the country and their efforts to help flood-affected people in their communities who raised a helping hand to those who were stranded, shelter less and hopeless.
Chief Coordinator UET Literary Society Zeeshan Basharat, a student of Electrical Engineering Session 2019, brought this award by being the Volunteer at UET-Flood Relief Drive mentored by Vice Chancellor UET Prof. Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar.
Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Rana Tanveer Hussain, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Ambassadors of UAE, Ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Founder and Executive Director of Akhuwat Foundation Amjad Saqib, Chairman HEC were also present in the ceremony.
Zeeshan on this achievement said that, “I would like to dedicate this award to our Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar and Director Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Asif Ali Qaisar who always supported students to take part in such activities”.
Alongside this, UET students, who donated as much as they could, and members of UET Literary Society, who worked their best to assist the Flood Donation Campaign really deserve the gratitude from UET Lahore.
