Islamabad, December 13, 2022 (PPI-OT):A team of the International Islamic University, Islamabad under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Nadeem Sheikh, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology, FET of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has developed a portal with the name (RAIN), Regulatory, Academic and Industry, one of the initiatives of National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA).
The Chairman, NEPRA has formally acknowledged the contribution of work of IIUI team under supervision of Prof. Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Sheikh, Dean FET, and IIUI. Regulatory, Academic and Industry (RAIN) is the initiative of NEPRA regarding the creation of linkages between industries related to power sector and academic research in different higher education institutes / universities across Pakistan and aims to reach out to innovators in academia to bridge the regulatory knowledge gap and to facilitate the implementation of academic research.
