This pivotal moment led to the establishment of Pakistan as a sovereign nation, emphasizing the vision and sacrifices of the country’s founding fathers.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari’s message not only honored the memory of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and his efforts to realize Dr. Muhammad Iqbal’s dream but also highlighted the country’s progress and the challenges it faces today. He lauded the contributions of the armed forces, police, and law enforcement agencies in maintaining national security and their role in combating terrorism and contributing to international peacekeeping efforts.

The President also drew attention to the plight of the Kashmiri people in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), condemning the human rights violations they endure under Indian occupation.
