President Zardari Commemorates Pakistan Day with a Call for Unity and Peace

Islamabad, President Asif Ali Zardari of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan marked Pakistan Day with a heartfelt message to the nation, celebrating the historical significance of March 23rd, 1940, when the Pakistan Resolution was passed. This pivotal moment led to the establishment of Pakistan as a sovereign nation, emphasizing the vision and sacrifices of the country’s founding fathers.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari’s message not only honored the memory of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and his efforts to realize Dr. Muhammad Iqbal’s dream but also highlighted the country’s progress and the challenges it faces today. He lauded the contributions of the armed forces, police, and law enforcement agencies in maintaining national security and their role in combating terrorism and contributing to international peacekeeping efforts.
