Karachi, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has conveyed his Christmas greetings to the Christian community in Pakistan and across the world. The festive message was shared in a press statement released by the Media Cell Bilawal House.
According to Pakistan People’s Party, Chairman Zardari expressed his good wishes for the Christian community, hoping that the festival would usher in happiness, prosperity, and harmony in the New Year. He acknowledged the significant contributions of Pakistani Christians in various fields, particularly education and health, and praised their active participation in the country’s development. Chairman Zardari emphasized the PPP’s commitment to advocating for the rights of the oppressed and marginalized, including ensuring equal rights for non-Muslim citizens such as Christians. He affirmed that the PPP is dedicated to protecting the rights and welfare of all minorities and backward classes in Pakistan, including the Christian community.
In his message, Chairman Zardari expressed confidence that the PPP, symbolized by the “Arrow Mark,” would be the preferred choice for minorities and conscientious Pakistanis in the upcoming February 8 elections. He highlighted the party’s vision to transform Pakistan into a more harmonious and tolerant society.
