Islamabad: The Potohar Organization for Development Advocacy (PODA), a registered non-governmental organization, has issued a call for proposals to prequalify suppliers for the upcoming 2025-2026 period. PODA, which focuses on the promotion and protection of human rights in Pakistan’s rural areas, is expanding its supplier pool to support its ongoing programs in climate change education, women’s rights advocacy, and constitutional rights education.
Operating out of its offices in Islamabad, Chakwal, Lahore, Multan, Hyderabad, and Quetta, PODA has established itself as a significant advocate for women’s rights and democratic development in the region. By prequalifying suppliers, PODA aims to streamline its procurement processes and ensure the efficient delivery of its programs.
Interested suppliers are required to complete a prequalification form and submit it along with a company profile and necessary legal documentation, such as NTN and company registration certificates. These submissions can be sent either via email or delivered directly to PODA’s Islamabad office.
The deadline for submission is June 29, 2025. Late submissions may not be considered. PODA has emphasized that incomplete forms will not be evaluated and reserves the right to request additional information during the assessment process.
PODA has outlined specific terms and conditions for potential suppliers, including adherence to procurement policies and a commitment to ethical business practices. It retains the right to adjust the procurement quantities and to reject proposals without providing a reason. Furthermore, suppliers are prohibited from subcontracting awarded services and must disclose any conflicts of interest.
The prequalification process is a strategic move by PODA to enhance its operational capabilities and ensure compliance with its organizational standards. By doing so, PODA continues its mission to foster a cohesive and democratic society through targeted advocacy and education initiatives.
