Lahore, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a clarification regarding recent media reports about an audit conducted by the Auditor General of Pakistan. The PCB emphasized that the audit report, which has been the subject of speculation in both electronic and print media, pertains to the period from 2019-2022 and does not involve the current Management Committee.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the PCB clarified that the findings in the audit report are preliminary observations and not final conclusions. In response to these observations, PCB officials have already submitted necessary clarifications and documentary evidence, fulfilling their institutional responsibilities.

The PCB further stated that feedback from the Auditor General of Pakistan on these clarifications is still awaited. The board assured that it remains committed to transparency and accountability and will respond appropriately to any developments related to the audit observations.
