Pakistan to Host Bangladesh ‘A’ and Sri Lanka ‘A’ for Cricket Series

Lahore: The Pakistan Shaheens are set to compete in a series of additional matches this year, hosting Bangladesh ‘A’ and Sri Lanka ‘A’ teams in August and November respectively. The teams will participate in four-day and 50-over matches across various venues in Pakistan, as announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the series will kick off following the Shaheens’ four-day match against Bangladesh ‘A’ in Darwin, Australia, concluding on July 29. The teams will then compete in two four-day matches in Pakistan from August 10-13 and August 17-20. These matches will be followed by three 50-over matches on August 23, 25, and 27.

The cricket action will continue in November when Sri Lanka ‘A’ visits Pakistan. The schedule includes two four-day matches from November 11-14 and November 18-21, followed by three 50-over matches on November 25, 27, and 29. The specific venues for these matches will be announced at a later date.

In addition to these matches, the Pakistan Emerging team is set to defend its title at the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in October, and the Pakistan U19 team will participate in an U19 50-over Tri-Nation Tournament and the ACC Asia Cup U19 scheduled for November and December, with details to be released by the ACC soon.
