Pakistan Sunni Tehreek Urges Election Commission to Collaborate with Parties for Fair Elections in Karachi

Karachi, Sarwat Ijaz Qadri, the President of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, has called on the Election Commission to work closely with political and religious parties in the appointment of District Returning Officers and Returning Officers. This collaboration is deemed crucial for ensuring a fair and transparent electoral process. Qadri also highlighted the need for law enforcement agencies to enhance the law and order situation in Sindh ahead of the general elections, expressing concern over the recent increase in target killings and criminal activities.

He stressed that the rising incidents of crime and target killings in Sindh pose a significant threat to the integrity of the upcoming elections.
