Bherah Shareef, The 2nd International Seerah Conference was held on November 18-19, 2023, at Al-Karam International Institute in Bherah Shareef, in collaboration with the Institute of Islamic Studies and Shariah, MY University Islamabad. The conference focused on the theme “Conservation and Utilization of Pakistan’s Natural Resources in the Light of Seerah.”

According to MY University, the event was graced by the presence of the Chairman and Vice Chancellor, along with other distinguished faculty members. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Syed Saeed-ul-Hassan Chishti, Registrar Dr. Ghulam Yaseen, and the Director of the Institute of Islamic Studies and Shariah were notable attendees.

The conference proved to be a fruitful platform for scholars, with over forty M.Phil and PhD scholars participating. Additionally, more than forty research articles were presented by faculty members and scholars, contributing to the discourse on the sustainable management and use of Pakistan’s natural resources, guided by the principles of Seerah.

This conference marks an important step in integrating Islamic teachings with contemporary environmental and resource management challenges, fostering a deeper understanding of sustainable practices within Pakistan.
